VibeCoding Game is an early, in-development creation-and-coding game for children. This page describes what the site actually does today — not what it might do later. We keep data collection to the minimum.

The short version

  • The only personal information we ask for is an email address — and that field is for a parent or other grown-up who wants to be told when a new language version or level is ready.
  • We use basic, aggregate analytics to see which pages get visited and which buttons get used.
  • No accounts, no logins, no payments, no ads, no selling your data, and no profiles about your child.
  • Questions, or want your email removed? Write to privacy@vibecodinggame.fun.

The Early Explorer email sign-up

The email form on the home page and on the “this language is still being built” screen is addressed to parents and grown-ups.

If you submit it, we store four things: the email address you typed, the site language you were viewing (English, Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese), which of the two places you signed up from, and the date.

So we can send a small number of messages — when a new language version or a new level becomes available, or when there's early access or a launch reward tied to that. That is the only use.

We do not ask for, or store, a name, a child’s name, an age, a birthday, a phone number, an address, a school, or a user ID. We do not record your IP address as part of the sign-up, and we do not try to work out where you are.

The address is stored in our database (hosted by Supabase, in Singapore). The form talks only to our own server, which writes the entry using a secret key that never reaches your browser.

You can ask us to delete your email address at any time — write to privacy@vibecodinggame.fun and we will remove it. There is no self-service unsubscribe link yet; for now it is a manual request.

Website analytics

We use two analytics tools, both limited to counting page views and a small number of non-personal button/outcome events. Neither is used to build a profile of you.

  • Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate page-view counts from our hosting provider. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
  • Google Analytics 4 — page views as you move between pages, plus a handful of custom events (for example, whether the “Start the mission” button was clicked, or whether an email sign-up succeeded). Google sets analytics cookies / an identifier in your browser for this. We have turned off its extra automatic tracking (scrolls, outbound clicks, downloads, site search, video). None of these events ever include your email address, your name, or anything you type — no user IDs and no personal information.

We do not currently show a cookie-consent banner. If you would rather not be measured by Google Analytics, you can use your browser’s privacy settings, a tracker blocker, or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Nothing you build or type inside the game is sent to analytics.

What VibeCoding Game does not do (today)

  • No user accounts or logins.
  • No payments, subscriptions, in-app purchases or credits.
  • No marketplace, and no community or sharing features.
  • No advertising, and no advertising or marketing trackers.
  • No selling, renting or trading of any data.
  • No AI features, and no gameplay or learning telemetry.
  • No profiles, progress records or saved creations tied to a person.

Children

The game is made for children roughly 6–10 years old. The one place we collect personal information — the email field — is meant for a parent or other adult, not for a child to fill in. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We are an early project and are still building out our formal privacy and children’s-data programme. This page is written to be honest and conservative rather than to claim full compliance with COPPA, the GDPR / GDPR-K, Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act, or any other specific regime. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern, please contact us and we will act on it.

How long we keep things

We keep a sign-up email address until the launch updates it was given for are done, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s standard settings.

Changes to this page

As the game grows, what it does will change, and this page will be updated to match — with the date at the top. If a change is significant and we hold your email for launch updates, we may use it to let you know.
